As Vice President of Marketing and Creative Services at A&M Records, Gold worked with The Police, Cat Stevens, Soundgarden, Janet Jackson, and many others. A four time Grammy nominated art director, he won a Grammy Award for Suzanne Vega’s album “Day’s of Open Hand.”
Gold has helped curate museum exhibitions including the Experience Music Project’s “Beatlemania !” and “Bob Dylan’s American Journey” (which traveled to Cleveland's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, New York's Pierpoint Morgan Library, Minneaopolis' Walker Arts Center, and Los Angeles' Skirball Cultural Center.) He was a featured appraiser on VH1's television show "Rock Collectors," and is profiled in the book "Vinyl Junkies" by Brett Milano (St. Martin’s Press.)
