We use the UK grading system which includes the grade EX (excellent,) as it offers more detail than the standard “Goldmine” grading scale of M (mint), VG (very good) G (good.)
In addition to the standard letter grades of M, M-, EX+, EX, EX-, VG+, VG, VG-, we occasionally include parenthesis to indicate smaller variations.
